Hello, I have made a reservation for round-trips by express bus from Shinjuku to Fuji Q Highland. We might extend our stay over there so want to cancel just the return-way and secure one-way go. As it's fully seats booked now so I'm afraid of cancelling my current booking. Btw, the payment is only accepted by cash at the bus express terminal. What should I do?

What you can do is to make a new reservation for the return bus from Fuji Q Highland to Shinjuku without cancelling your previous reservation.
Then, when you pay for the ticket on the departure date, tell the staff that you want to use just the one way of the round ticket you booked in the first place and the return ticket that you booked later. Then, just cancel unnecessary ticket.
I think this is the best way to secure your seats.
You will not be charged for unnecessary tickets.
By the way, you can pay by credit card at the bus terminal.
