Kawazu-sakura festival is coming up soon
Picture by http://www.kawazu-onsen.com/Kawazu-zakura is a type of cherry trees which bloom long before the most common type of cherry tree, the Somei Yoshino, start to open.
The Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is held from February 10 to March 10 this year.
It features festival stalls along the river with a variety of foods and goods. You can also enjoy lighting up of trees from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
