Hello again,
I am sorry for my misleading previous answer.
In Kawaguchiko there is a smaller mountain, called Mount Tachi, that you can access by ropeway. From the top you can get an amazing view of Mount Fuji. Also there is a cafe by the ropeway station on top where you can buy Dango (traditional Japanese sweet) and tea that you can eat and drink while enjoying the view.
Here is some information about the ropeway (Kachi Kachi Ropeway):

Hope this can help!

Hi there,

The bus from Shinjuku to Mt. Fuji 5th station can be reserved from the following website as DiDi san mentioned.
http://highway-buses.jp/fuji/
However, the bus only operates from early May through the end of October, so there are no buses to go to Mt. Fuji 5th station on March 1st. If you would like to see Mt. Fuji, Kawaguchiko is the best place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji. The buses from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko run throughout a year.

Have a nice trip in Japan!
Please share your experience of visiting Mt. Fuji and post some pics in March!

Sorry I meant that you can reserve and find information about buses from SHINJUKU to mt Fuji 5th Station.

Hello,
You can reserve and find information about the bus running from Kawaguchiko to Fuji Subaru 5th station on this site:
http://highway-buses.jp/fuji/
Whether you can see Mt Fuji from the station or not depends on the weather, but if the weather is clear you should be able to get a good view of the mountain close to the station.

I hope this can help and have a nice trip!
Best regards,
Didi
