I have questions regarding the discount connecting ticket roundtrip from Shinjuku to Hida Takayama and Shirakawago.
I will take an overnight bus to Hida Takayama at 22:50.
The ticket counter is closed at 20:00 then how can I purchase a roundtrip ticket to Shirakawago at discount price? Can I just purchase it at Takatama bus terminal and get the discount price as well?

The ticket counter in Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal will open until 23:30. Therefore, please request connecting ticket to Shirakawago at the ticket counter at Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal on the day of departure. Please be noted that you need to purchase the ticket 10 minutes before the departure at the latest.
