Hello, I would like to travel from Mt. Fuji (5th Station) to Kyoto on August 29th or August 30th. Is anyone able to tell me how to do this? I would like to know what bus/train I need to take (from what station to what station, including transfers if necessary), the price, the duration, and any other things I need to be aware of.

Hi there,

You can take a local bus (Fujikyuko bus) from Mt. Fuji 5th station to Kawaguhiko and take another Fujikyuko bus from Kawaguchiko to Mishima (Approx. 130 min.) . Then, take JR Tokaido Shinkansen from Mishima to Kyoto station.

I think this is the best way to go to Kyoto from Mt. Fuji 5th station.

You do not need a reservation for the local bus between Mt. Fuji 5th station and Mishima.
