Hi, could anybody clarify please whether buses between Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji 5th Station are available all year round? I'm confused about the picture on this site http://highway-buses.jp/fuji/ that says that buses to Mt. Fuji 5th Station operate from May through October only, although no such notes at the "Kawaguchiko Station - Mt.Fuji 5th" timetable below the picture. Haven't found any info about such buses here http://bus-en.fujikyu.co.jp/ :( Will it be possible to travel between Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji 5th by bus in March? Thanks in advance!

Hi, there

As you saw, it's right that there are no buses between Kawaguchiko-Mt.Fuji during winter season as for the heavy snow.
It operates only during April to September.
So no buses available when you take trip in March, but taxi might be possible.
NOTE, it all depends on how heavy snow around Mt.Fuji area... so that you'll have a chance to ask at the office of taxi or on the phone, or your concierge of the hotel if you you can have a ride.
FYI, Fuji Subaru Line has been all closed because of the heavy snow since 5th Feb.
