Hi,
I intend to take the chuo highway bus from Shinjuku directly to Fuji Shibazakura Festival Venue and to stay over at the hotel around Fujikyu Highland Station but i have a few question.
1) May i know what is the available bus timing because it seems that there is only 1 bus timed at 07:35 and returned at 14:48 at Fuji-Q Highland Station. Am i right ?
2) Understand the chuo highway bus includes the ticket access to the festival. If i were to purchase the return ticket, can i choose to embark the bus the next day from Fujikyu Highland Station ? or i have to embark at the festival venue ?
3) is the ticket access valid for 1 day only ? if i arrived at the venue and decided to go the next day instead, am i able to do so ? (if due to bad weather, i may want to visit another day instead of the day of arrival from Shinjuku since i am staying overnight)

Thank you

Hi there,

I think it is better to purchase an expressway bus ticket from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko and then buy a Shibazakura Liner at Kawaguchiko to go to Shibazakura Festival site, instead of taking a direct bus from Shinjuku to Shibazakura Festival site. If you do not want to stop by at Fujikyu Highland on the way, I think this is better this way. Also, If you switch a bus at Kawaguchiko, there are more buses available at Shinjuku and also at Kawaguchiko.

<Shibazakura Liner>

By the way, Shibazakura liner includes a round trip between Kawaguchiko and Shibazakura site and an entrance fee for the festival.

Have a nice trip in Japan!
