I have already booked tickets from Shinjuku to arrive at Fuji Q highland. Can I just alight when I reach Kawaguchiko on that day without have to change my tickets?

It depends on which type of bus ticket you have booked.
There are web ticket and mobile ticket.
If you have a web ticket, you need to print out the ticket and show it to the bus driver when you get on the bus.
If you have a mobile ticket, you need to show the ticket on your smart phone to the bus driver when you get on the bus.
