There are no direct bus from Shinjuku to Hida Furukawa station.
What you can do is to take a highway bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal to Takayama Bus Terminal.
Take a local bus from Takayama Bus Terminal to Hida Furukawa.
You do not need a reservation for the local bus.
It takes about 35 minutes from Takayama to Hida Furukawa.

You need a reservation for the highway bus from Shinjuku to Takayama.
