I am planning to visit Nara in March, and seeing Todaiji's Shunie at Nigatsudo. I have seen videos of it and it seems very crowded on the last day. When would be a good time to get a nice standing spot if it is on the 6th day but Sunday?

I would say the best time to visit there is the early morning when the temple opens at 8:00 am.
