Hi, I'm planning to go to Lake Kawaguchiko for a day's trip on 4th Nov 2016 as I'll only be there for a day, it'll be better for me not to go too far from the bus terminal.

I should be travelling by bus from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko station & I need help on the followings:
1) Any good hotels that offer open-air onsen bath walking distance from Kawaguchiko station for non-hotel guest? If yes, what's the price per person?
2) Any place of interest nearby Kawaguchiko station that I can go on foot?
3) Any good eating place also nearby Kawaguchiko station?

1. I would recommend you to go to Fujikyu Highland Resort which has hot springs, FujiQ Highland(https://www.fujiq.jp/en/attraction/), and eating place.
It is about 10 minutes from Kawaguchiko by a local bus.
