is it worth getting the Fuji hakone pass? because i see the unlimited cable car and boat rides are not the ones at kawaguchi lake nor the kachi kachi ropeway. is it better to get the kachi kachi ropeway/boat ride combi tickets instead?

since im taking the express bus from shinjuku to kawaguchiko, is it better to get the fuji hakone or hakone free pass? hakone free pass includes a round trip from shinjuku station.

Since there is a round trip, between Shinjuku and Kawaguchiko, included in the Fuji Hakone Pass you do not need to pay anything extra to get to and from Kawaguchiko by highway bus. If you have already payed for the bus, or just want to travel to Kawaguchiko, the Kachi ropeway / boat ride combi ticket may be more beneficial for you. Although if you want to travel around the Fuji Five Lakes and Hakone area, the Fuji Hakone Pass includes free traveling around the area.
With the Hakone Free pass you can only travel to and from and around the Hakone area. So if you want to visit both Hakone and Kawaguchiko the Fuji Hakone Pass is the better option.
