Hi,
My family will be in Tokyo Apr 11 - Apr 16. We plan to go to the Shibazakura festival in the morning and on to Gotemba in the afternoon on Apr 15.

1) Will there be any pink flowers to see on the first day ?
2) I plan to go there using the direct service from Shinjuku to festival site (2200 Yen), From the festival where can I buy a bus ticket for the Shibazakura liner to Kawaguchiko station.
As I only see round trip fare of (2000 yen), I dont know if I can buy just one way back to kawaguchiko.
3) From Kawaguchiko, how long will it take to Gotemba by Bus ? Do I need to reserve in advance ?

Thank you
Rich

Hi there,

1) According to the archive of 2016, on 4th April was like this;
http://www.shibazakura.jp/info/2016/04/414.html
I don't think there's no flowers at all on the first day.

2) You can purchase at the Festival site's bus stop.
Just get the ticket and queue on the line at the stop for the bus bound for kawaguchiko like you take local buses.
It's 1,230 yen for adults.

3) If you want to visit the Premium Outlet, take the bus from the stop no.6.
http://www.premiumoutlets.co.jp/en/gotemba/access/bus/detail18.html

If you want to get to the station, take the bus;
http://bus-en.fujikyu.co.jp/route/detail/id/1/

Either of both, you don't need booking.

Hope this can be your help!
