if i don't buy the round trip tickets from Shinjuku bus terminal to Kawaguchiko station, can i buy the one-way ticket from Kawaguchiko station itself back to Shinjuku Bus Terminal ?

hi there,
yes you can, but if you travel during Shibazakura festival or golden week, i strongly recommend you to book round-trip.
as the buses comes fully-booked so fast during those seasons, there's a chance you would miss getting back. （in that case, you can take trains in stead though）
