I am visiting Japan 17Dec for 2 weeks. Is the weather condusive to visit Lake Kawaguchi near Mt Fuji. Don't understand your routing, is this a guided tour? Do I need to buy tickets in advance for all the trips specified. Thank you

hi there,

you can't climb to the summit of mt.Fuji anymore in this year.
BUT, as official mentioned, you can get to the 5th station by bus.
AND if you want to get to the 5th station instead of summit, you can trek from Yoshidaguchi.

5th station is on the way to the summit, and it won't be closed until it gets heavy snow.
