I've just booked a ticket Hakuba to Shinjuku. Am I able to board the bus at Hakuba JR station rather than the Hakuba bus station? Thanks

You cannot board the bus at Hakuba JR station. The Hakuba bus station is right outside of the station, so please walk to the bus station.
