Hi,

As I will arrive around 6.30am at HND INT Terminal, I will be purchasing the 2-Day Plus One adult pass from Shinjuku bus terminal to Kamikochi but I will miss the departure time at 7.15am. I have already booked my accomodation at Kamikochi so can I take train from HND to Shin-Shimama station and board from there to Kamikochi Bus terminal?

So my route using 2-Day Plus One adult pass from Kamikochi - Norikura - Matsumoto

Also, as I have change of plan in my route, I like to visit Takayama as well. So I was planning to purchase Three-Star Alps Pass but will I be able to board from Matsumoto still since this route start from Shinjuku?

Sounds like the Three-Star Alps Pass is better for your plan as you are visiting Kamikochi - Norikura - Matsumoto - Takayama.

I think the best way to get to Kamikochi on the day you arrive in Japan is;
1. Go to Shinjuku from HND by airport shuttle or train.
2. Go to Central Honshu Information Plaza in Shinjuku to pick up all the voucher before boarding the bus.

3. Take the highway bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal to Matsumoto.
4. Take a bus from Matsumoto to Hirayu Onsen and then take a bus from Hirayu Onsen to Kamikochi.
Reservation is not required. There might be a direct bus from Matsumoto to Kamikochi.

This way, you can go to Kamikochi on the day you arrive in Japan.
